I landed on a Sunday and ventured out to a pizza place for dinner. The staff was super friendly and I was having a grand old time when I received some pretty devastating news. They went above and beyond and embraced me as a stranger in a strange city across an entire continent from my home. To this day it still warms my heart when I think of that restaurant. (The Arlington location)
Slightly more info than you wanted about me, unless you're a stalker than it's not enough.

Camo leggings
I wear a lot of camo. I blame it all on a certain fellow that thought I looked hot in it. Yep. It's all his fault. He began the camo obsession. I just escalated it to the pink camo level. These gems are not pink camo, they're real tree and underarmour. Pretty amazing combo. I wear them under sweatpants for trapping, under skirts in the fall time, heck I just wear them all by them self. They're that awesome and I'm that awesome.
I have so many fun clothes, they're just not all functional so I rarely get the opportunity to wear them. These leggings are functional and awesome. So I probably over wear them. You know what? I'm okay with that.

Skirt, argyle socks and boots
I love wearing these boots because inevitably someone always comments on their brightness. It's always positive and it always brings a smile to my face. I can't even remember every time that someone has said they love these boots. It makes me feel good. One of my favorites was a door man at the Hilton who referred to me as the pink boot girl even when I wasn't wearing them!
This scarf was a Christmas present from my neighbors last year. I think it's my fanciest scarf. I feel so pretty when I wear it and it's super soft and warm. Everything that you want in a scarf.

Fuzzy boots
Underarmour addiction. It's the leading cause of the depletion of my bank account. For example this pink hoody. Did I need another hoody? Well... okay I could argue that point and say yes, but lets go with no. But yet, here it is. And it's pink. And I love it. And it has a low neck so the hood doesn't pull at my throat strangling me. And did I mention it's pink?
These are fall boots for two reasons. I can only wear them in the fall after the ground is frozen so they don't get muddy. I can only wear them until the snow falls because once snow falls they become slippery as f*ck. I fell in them three times before I figured out that I'm not coordinated enough to wear them when there is snow. Hence, fall boots.

Remixing
So in the fashion blogging world, wearing an article of clothing more
than once is called remixing. I suppose there is styling involved. To
me it's just a fact. You wear an article of clothing more than once.
You don't always grab the same stuff to put on with it every time you
use that article of clothing. So it's worn a different way. Aaaand
remixed.
I don't like that all of my pictures of in my office,
but I'm usually too lazy or too busy or too lazy to take pictures
anywhere else. One of these days I'd like to be brave enough to take
pictures by my house or car or four-wheeler. Unless I'm out in the
country by myself, I feel super silly taking pictures of myself and
posing for a tripod.
My office has since been organized the slightest
since I took these pictures. However working as an environmental
specialist and managing recycling out in these here parts causes
clutter. And piles of boxes of crap that needs to be stored before
there's enough quantity to merit staging and freighting into Anchorage.
Thus my office is constantly stacked and piled. And because there are
stacks and piles of batteries and ballasts, it doesn't encourage me to
keep my files in order. Every once and a while it gets to the point
where I can't focus on anything and then I start filing and tackling
piles. Or at least re-piling so it looks moderately organized.

Pink shiny necklace
I haven't had hair this long, for this long in a long time. That's a really bad sentence. But it gets my long point across. Because I dye my hair so much the ends get pretty crispified. This hair style is the easiest on the ends that has it out of my face and off my neck. It's kind of a bun type deal, rather than double ponying it up which knots the ends of my curls. And it takes seconds to do. Key in my book because rarely do I actually want to spend time doing something to my hair to make it look nice. Cause then I fuss with it all the damn time.
I bought this sequiny type necklace when I was in Portland visiting Sophie on my way to the Tribal Leaders Conference in Grand Ronde, OR. It was about $3 at Fred Meyer on clearance. I love it. It randomly catches the light and I see it's sparkly reflection flash on walls or objects around me. Kind of like a chandelier.
Laying tank top: Costco. Lady Hathaway brand. Best. Tank. Ever.

Jeans: Arizona. Bought em at JCPenny. Too bad they don't have them anymore. Sad.
Necklace. Fred Meyer.

A few pictures from Anchorage
These were take at Marty O's condo in Anchorage. She lets me crash there when I find myself in Anchorage without a place to lay my head. Sometimes I'll use it as a home base and I end up crashing with different friends based on the days activities. That's one thing that I really like about the time that I spend in Anchorage. I have such a variety of people to visit and see. Each catered to their own special goodness. Going out for wine and good eats, watching five movies on a couch barely moving except for getting snacks from Carrs, shopping for clothes and fun even when you know you shouldn't be spending money, stuffing bellies with sushi and sake or participating in a 5 mile run for women. I have someone in mind for each of these activities. It's the time that people take for me out of their lives that means something to me though. In Anchorage, people seem to have less time for friends and for just hanging out.
The jeans are Arizona jeans, which they no longer make, which in turn makes me very sad because I adore the crap out of the cut. They've been patched at least a half a dozen times. Still love. Still wear. Cabela's made the glorious pink real tree hoody that has wonderfully long arms for my long arms. The torso part is a little short, but again, I think I just have a long torso, or like my clothing long. My Inupiaq Princess t shirt is from brother and his girlfriend. It's definitely one of my favorite t shirts. Once upon a time a certain gentleman called me princess. I balked and asked him not to. What was I thinking?

Pink real tree.
I'm in love with camo right now. I think it loves me right back. (I'm also in love with Cabela's, as pictured below. The other camo hoody that I have, I adore, but it just has a lot of baggage attached to it, and my friends don't really like me wearing it. That doesn't stop me from wearing it though, because I am unshakeable in doing what I want.
You can get yourself a Cabela's real tree pink camo Sweater here. I've already gotten a few compliments on mine. Bonus: It matches my 20 gauge shotgun. This panda couldn't be happier about that.
Mel always says I'm photogenic. And sometimes I agree with her and sometimes I don't. I love having pictures of myself doing things but just standing and showing off what I'm wearing often seems silly. Maybe that's a hurdle you have to jump if you're a serious fashion blogger and not just doing this for my amusement. I do want to play with my tripod more often, but there is always something else to do. Like shooting guns...
